Exhibition: L’Architecte. Portraits et clichés.

Until September, the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine de Paris focuses on the architectural trade through its exhibition entitled, “L’Architecte. Portraits et clichés” (The Architect. Portraits and Snapshots). The event reveals the evolution of this age-old occupation, alongside its tools, its vocabulary, and its craftsmanship. This profession can indeed be undertaken both solo, and at the office. The retrospective additionally revisits the architects turned celebrities, those extensively covered in the media, becoming the heroes of literary works, making it to the front cover of magazines, and whose portraits can be seen on bank notes and stamps. A particularly interesting exhibition broaching the history of this beautiful craft, it can be found just a few-minute walk away from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni, opposite the Eiffel Tower. Before your visit, make sure to take advantage of the tower’s temporary summer terrace.

Exhibition “L’Architecte. Portraits et clichés”, from April 21st to September 4th, 2017.
Open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 11a.m. to 7p.m.
Nocturnal on Thursday, until 9p.m.
Full rate: €9 / Concessions: €6.
