Exhibition: Bill Viola


The Grand Palais is proposing a major retrospective of the work of Bill Viola, the contemporary specialist of video art. This exhibition combines moving paintings and spectacularly imposing works, from 1977 to nowadays. You will discover the main themes the artist deals with, like death, life and transfiguration, which are both intimate and universal quests.

“Bill Viola” exhibition, from March 5th to July 21st 2014.
Open from Wednesday to Saturday, from 10am to 10pm, and on Sundays and Mondays from 10am to 8pm.
Closed on Tuesdays, on May 1st and July 14th.
Exceptional opening on May 8th.
Full rate: €13 / Reduced rate: €9.
Free entrance from 8pm to midnight, for the European Night of Museums, on May 17th, 2014.
