In its new exhibition, the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine (architecture and heritage museum) focuses on the architectural advances that were made during World War II. By analyzing the consequences of the conflict on the existing architecture, as well as the works of architects of the time, one understands how the war accelerated the change in mentality, which lead to the supremacy of modern architecture after 1945.

Exhibition: "Architecture in Uniform, Planning and Building for World War II", from April 24th to September 8th 2014.Open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 7pm.
Late opening on Thursday until 9pm. Closed on Tuesday.
