Exhibition: Arche de Noé-Climat

Arche de Noé-Climat is a project shaped by street art specialist Gad Weil, at the request of Minister for Ecology Ségolene Royal, beforehand the COP21 which will start November 30th next. The artiste created 140 animals sculptures (mammals, fishes, birds, insects etc.), made of Arkema PMMA, a material which is indefinitely recyclable. The aim of these works is to raise awareness of the global warming’s consequences among the public and notably the children. Donkeys, lions, giraffes, cockerels, orcas…numerous species have been represented and are on display from November 30th to December 11th 2015 at Paris Le Bourget, where the Conference on Climate Change will take place. On a side note, these sculptures travelled France since last September, and notably stopped in Toulouse, Strasbourg and Aix-en-Provence. This free exhibition also shows the richness of the fauna’s diversity, and its importance. To reach the place, shuttles will be put at visitor’s disposal, from the metro and RER. Otherwise, the public can also go by walk at the Bourget, thanks to a marked out pathway which will take 25 minutes.

Arche de Noé-Climat, from November 30th to December 11th 2015.
Free admission.
