At the Parc Georges Brassens located in the 15th district, you’ll taste your sandwich or fresh wrap around the lake, or quietly installed in the grass. At Parc Montsouris made by Napoleon III, and the favorite spot for students, you’ll lay your squared blanket and enjoy the beautiful weather just beside the meteorological observatory and numerous species of birds. If all you seek is calm and intimacy for your picnic, get yourself to Jardin Atlantique of the Gare Montparnasse. This suspended garden built on the roof of a train station is inspired in English landscapes and even offers tennis classes and ping-pong tables to move a little after a good meal. For a more touristy and really Parisian outing head to Champ de Mars. With a view of the Eiffel Tower, your picnic will just taste different, we assure you! Anyway, don’t forget that’s possible to have a romantic and gastronomic soiree, with a view of the bateaux-mouches, canal boats and the most beautiful Parisian bridges, all through the quays of the Seine. So, which one of these are you tempted by?
