Shared gardens in Paris

9 October 2009 by admin

The association Vert-tige was created in 2007 by 6 local residents in need of greenery. Following the destruction of a parcel  of vegetation near the Avenue Jean Moulin, along the old railway line to the inner ring, the 6 Parisians have decided to relive this garden. This parcel presents for many years contained cherries, apples, pears, roses and countless of other plants. By creating this new shared garden, under concession with the City of Paris, the goal is to restore the desire for Paris to cultivate gardens and foraging in the purest tradition, after a  day at work for example.
An action to follow for the city so Paris can continue to breathe!
