Ethical and cultural bar in Paris

19 August 2010 by admin

A cross between the tea room and the cultural bar, the Biloba advocate the values of exchange and of the real taste of organic food. Celine and Celine, the two green spirits who opened it, wanted to create a place committed to protecting the environment. The materials used to build it come from recycling, and the savings made by using 100% renewable electricity go to the Association Coeur de Forêts. At the Biloba, you eat and drink local organic products, like the Rosette de Lyon (a sausage), the mini salted cupcakes from Synie or the smoked mackerel, and end with a coffee coming from Fair Trade producers. When you buy organic products from the bar shop, some of the profits go to the Association les Amis de la Terre (Friends of the Earth). An easy way to indulge yourself and preserve the environment at the same time.
