February 18th, 2013 by admin

This phenomenon unfortunately seems to be spreading worldwide, leaving no cadavers near the hives, nor no visible predator. Arrived on earth several million years before man, honeybee is an essential animal to the human beings survival, because the large majority of plants need this insect to be fertilized!

A historical canal…

Establishing the junction between the Bassin de la Villette and the Pavillon de l’Arsenal, little by little the canal became a trendy place for the Paris inhabitants as well as for tourists. This way, commercial shipping let the place to cruises and individual pleasure boats. Auchan is now going organic with Cœur de Nature

June 4th, 2012 by admin

Opened last May 16th in the 91 area, in Brétigny-sur-orge, this test store could possibly be the first of many other Cœur de Nature (Nature Heart) stores to come, next time in the center of the capital. In 1000m2 we can find over 13,000 references of organic food and other products, with the main purpose of “making the organic affordable for everyone”. At the head of this supermarket, we find Guy Verdier, CEO of Socobio, organic branch of Auchan France, he states: “if this works, we’ll open other ones”. But, it’s fair to ask ourselves what makes this brand different from the Biocoops and Naturalias? Maybe its design and chic style, its attractive prices, or the fact that the space is big and fully-stocked (plenty of oils, clothing, fish, meat, tea, coffee, starches, grains, etc.). One thing is certain, the fame of this retailing mastodon risks of fueling the curiosity of the curious ones… An affair to keep an eye on.

Open Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Berthe Morisot: the visionary impressionist

May 11th, 2012 by admin

Berthe Morisot (1841-1895), one of the most inventive impressionists, she’s the only artist that knew how to make the link between Renoir’s designs and Manet’s dissolution of form. Her exhibition that will be displayed until July 1st 2012 at the Marmottan Museum, goes back to the subjects that marked her life, from her daughter Julie to the landscapes she loved so much.

To know: This is the first retrospective dedicated to the artist in 50 years! One more reason not to miss it.

5th Edition of the European Solar Conference

May 4th, 2012 by admin

Everyone knows that truth comes out of children’s mouths. This is why we’ll have to listen to them now more than ever at the 5th edition of the European Solar Conference! Because they are aware of the environment that surrounds them from a early stage, Enerplan proposes teachers of elementary school, to make their students participate on a educational plan associated to a contest of ideas: “Solar schools, when dreams become reality!”. Thanks to index cards and to edutainment practical assignments made in a trimester, children will teach their parents, through a demonstration, how to properly act concerning the planet and the sun.
